A little about me
There's a lot of life behind the camera.
I was born and raised in Austin, and Central Texas is still home. My wife and I are high school sweethearts. We've been together 26 years, and we have two kids, a son who's 8 and a daughter who's 6. They're comfortable on camera too. We also just brought home Izzie, a golden retriever puppy, so the house is full of chew toys, training treats, and muddy paws right now. She's learning fetch and the basics, and puppy life is going to show up in my content.
I spent 20+ years in restaurants and hospitality and co-owned three restaurants. I've built kitchens, managed crews, fixed equipment, and kept things running when the pressure was on. I'm also EPA 608 certified, with hands-on HVAC and refrigeration training. When I talk about a tool or appliance, I've got real experience to draw from.
I've cooked live on a number of TV shows and segments, and done plenty of in-person demos. I still sell products face to face with business owners every day, and I've spent six years sourcing and selling established brands on Amazon. I know how to show what matters about a product without making it sound like a sales script.
Outside of work you'll usually find me on a yard or landscaping project, building out an outdoor space, fishing, or cooking outside: grilling, smoking, or over a fire. That's the life that shows up in my content.
